Parndana Wildlife Park

Below is a few of the animals you can see at the Park.

Echidnas are monotremes. Monotremes differ from other mammals in laying eggs and in lacking teats. Echidnas and the Platypus are monotremes. The echidna has a long, sticky tongue to eat ants.

KI kangaroos are native to kangaroo island. They are very friendly and you can enter the designated enclosure and they will eat the food from your hand. K.I. Kangaroos are the Best Looking Kangaroos - come and see for yourself!!

The Walk-through Avairy is like a tropical rainforest with lots of birds and plants and a raised viewing platform.

Emus make strange sounds. In the Park they live together with kangaroos in one enclosure.

Come, see and hear them.

Supervised you can enter the koala enclosure and have your photo taken touching a koala. Koalas sleep almost the whole day. They are active for 4 hours and sleep for 20 hours. Take the time to look and the Park sometimes it has visiting wild koalas in the Park trees.
