A Little About Our Wildlife Park
The Parndana Wildlife Park is just 3 km from the township of Parndana and situated in a peaceful parkland setting , which covers an area of some 30 acres. The Park accommodates hundreds of birds and animals and is the largest of its kind on the Kangaroo Island.
Parndana Wildlife Park is a place where we care for our wildlife and care for the people who come to visit them. Our motto is “KI Wildlife at your fingertips” - offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the sights, scents and sounds of native and farm animals and birds.
Tourism is very important to Kangaroo Island so we provide an opportunity for people and nature to come together. We endeavor to create an experience, which is interactive, entertaining, appealing, uncrowded and relaxed so that the visitor leaves highly satisfied with the experience.
Parndana Wildlife Park has been the winner of several national tourism awards.
Parndana Wildlife Park’s kangaroos are particularly friendly and ideal for a close up experience, providing the perfect opportunity for a great souvenir photograph. Visitors also have the opportunity to feed them.
The Park is rarely without young animals to care for as it takes in and cares for injured, orphaned and unwanted animals. When available, groups can experience holding baby kangaroos, wallabies, possums and occasionally koalas.
We are constantly upgrading and improving the park.
